FetchNW Presents Vortex At The Crocodile

FetchNW is back at The Crocodile as part of Frostbite Weekend. Much like last year, you can expect some awesome set design from local furries, cool lighting tech, DJs playing well into the night, Golden Paw/Platinum Paw Perks, and more.

THE VIBE: This is going to be a high energy dance event, like you’d experience at a convention. With 6 hours of DJs, the party is going on all evening long. There is an attached cocktail lounge, The Society, that you can escape to for something a little quieter (but likely still crowded). Expect the entire venue to be loud. Re-entry is allowed, so if you need to step out, don’t worry you can get back in with your badge and ID. We will have a merch booth with FetchNW merchandise for sale, and free earplugs there.

FOOD AND DRINK: The Crocodile has multiple full service bars, and a food menu. You’re also welcome to venture out and come back anytime during the event; re-entry is allowed.

Dress Code: FetchNW’s standard dress code applies. No exposed butts nor genitalia for all attendees. No attire with hate speech nor hostile messages. Come as you are otherwise. Reach out if you have any questions on your threads.

AV, Tech, and Set Design: Like last year, we are going all out with stage production. We’ve a local furry AV company (Redray) helping with lasers and video. We’ve several individuals helping with set design and buildout. And Crocodile employs professional sound/lighting engineers. If you liked last year’s set design and lighting, expect similar support this year. Be sure to thank both your local furry community and Crocodile for the amazingness.

Changing Space: Crocodile is graciously allowing us to use their greenrooms again for changing space. We are the only group they’ve allowed this for so far, so like last year please respect the space and clean up after yourselves; we’d like to keep having a changing space for you all there.

Attached Hotel: Crocodile has an attached hotel just upstairs from the main showroom. FetchNW has no contract with the hotel. Their hotel website, if you’d like to try and book a room, is here. There is no direct entry to the event from the hotel; you will have to step outside and go through security like everyone else to enter Vortex.

VORTEX at The Crocodile is a ticketed event. Other FROSTBITE WEEKEND events do not require tickets. Ticketing will be done on Crocodile’s ticketing site and platform. We will get all our ticket links updated and live once that’s setup.

FetchNW is a  21+ event!!!

Event Rules and Conditions of Entry:

1. All sales final, no refunds. Sales are managed by The Crocodile on their ticketing platform, and subject to their terms and conditions.
2. You must be 21 or older to attend.
3. Follow the FetchNW Party Bill of Rights.
4. Unexpired, valid, government-issued photo ID required to enter.
5. All guests are subject to a security screening and bag check, including action packers or fursuit bags.
6. Tickets are transferable and may be used by the ticket holder. You can give your ticket to a friend or sell it. Whoever is holding the ticket will get into the party. Don’t give away your ticket unless you really mean to.
7. No outside food or drink.
8. No drug use, smoking, vaping, nor consuming marijuana inside the venue.
9. Anyone visibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol may be denied entry.
10. Anyone overly intoxicated will be asked to leave.
11. No weapons (e.g., firearms, knives, mace)
12. FetchNW LLC and The Crocodile are not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.
13. You are responsible for your own behavior and agree to indemnify and hold FetchNW LLC and The Crocodile harmless in the event of losses, injury, or death arising from your own actions, negligence, and any other causes whatsoever.
14. Let us know upon entry if you wish to opt out of photographs and video recordings. You will be given a wristband which must be visible at all times. Be aware that removing you from photos and video may not be possible for group photos or if we cannot see your wristband.
15. If you do not opt out: you grant FetchNW LLC the right and license, in perpetuity and throughout the universe, to retain and use any and all audio or video recordings or photographs taken during the event for the purposes of advertising and/or publicity on social media accounts, internet messaging rooms, in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised. FetchNW LLC reserves the right to share, tweet, retweet, or quote tweet all such recordings and photos.
16. In all cases, with or without opt-out, FetchNW reserves the right to use recordings and photos for security purposes in the event of a security incident or complaint from attendees, the venue, or law enforcement.
17. You understand that other attendees may take your photo or record you and FetchNW cannot control that. You hold FetchNW harmless for any damages which may arise from use of such recordings or photos taken or used by individuals not affiliated with FetchNW.
